On April 12, 2021, the surveying of the tunnels of the Leogang show mine started in cooperation with the Viennese company Crazy Eye OG using the latest light strip scanning methodology. The digitization work is being carried out as part of the "Barrier-free Leogang Exhibition Mine" project. In this way, the Leogang miners' association and the municipality of Leogang would like to make the show mine virtually accessible and, in doing so, make it possible to experience interesting facts about mining history, geology, mineral deposits and the living conditions of the miners in an interactive way.

Thus, the historical mining of the Schwarzleotal is brought into the digital age and is also accessible to those people who are not able to visit the mine for health reasons. The virtual tour will be accessible to everyone around the clock via a newly installed info screen in front of the Unterberghaus in the Schwarzleo Valley as well as the newly designed website. In addition, a German and English language audio guide will be implemented.

On the one hand we coordinate the project implementation and on the other hand we take care of the preparation of the geological and mining historical data. The Viennese 3D Studio Crazy Eye carries out the scans and the creation of the 3D model of the show mine. In addition, companies from the Leogang- Fieberbrunn region (e.g. Klubarbeit.net) are involved in the realization of the project.
